Variation of maquette
Here’s my original maquette for she thought. For a work which ended up so large it’s a tiny maquette. But it served its purpose well; making it taught me much that was later useful in producing the work at scale, and it was an excellent communication tool during the production process.
It’s hollow-formed and fabricated using silver smithing techniques to create it as a vessel. Its been in and out of foundries, workshops, steel fabrication sheds, its beaten up and knocked around but I’m very fond of it.
