Variation of maquette - Bronze and tombak
This piece will also be shown at Sculpture Inside. Proportionally it’s pretty well identical to the full size work, but the experimentation here has been with technique, because this piece is solid cast bronze.
Although I’m interested in vessel forms, I wanted to see how solid casting would alter the piece and I like the result. It has a beautiful weight and gravity.
